I guess there're more things in history we'd be 'wrong' in our assumptions... there's so much to learn, isn't there? This video presents a sad reality and, to be fair, these issues are not easy to research. One piece of evidence, however, that points to the accuracy of these claims is that the white Europeans could not have set up the slave trade so quickly if it hadn't been in place already for some time. WHat is even more troubling in the modern conext is that there are still about 27 million slaves in that sense, let alone sex slaves, children forced to work, etc. Some North African Muslims still believe that the blacks are a subservient and inferior race, just like what the Nazi said about Poles (not to mention the Jews)! One reason why I became a Christian was because I realised the beautiful value the God of the Bible places on life and its sanctity.
